Deven Dawson is a visual artist and designer, a chef by trade and a Certified Sommelier. She is curious and passionate about all things creative, especially when it comes to the artistry behind food and wine.
From her start serving and bartending, to making wedding cakes and pastries, working as an Executive Chef for Nordstrom, owning 2 funky sandwich shops, Royal Street Deli and Delta Angel in New Orleans, running the “Food for Friends” kitchen for a local non-profit, to fine dining event planning, her 25 year hospitality career has led her down many diverse paths… but New Orleans and being in a kitchen making food art are her two true loves.
Doily at St. Roch Market is Deven’s newest culinary adventure which will showcase a simple, but eclectic collection of sweet and savory sandwiches, salads and desserts with a whimsical flair. She looks forward to recreating and sharing her “go to” recipes as well as creating new ones along the way.
